Refering to the large shoal of Mullet, how interesting would it have been if they had been visible as the Osprey was flying over.

Colour rings on Godwit are Left Leg Orange over Red Right Leg Green over Yellow Flag all above knee.
First ringed in Iceland July 2012 the same bird at Condor Pool I guess.

I am very often entertained by a Starling in the Walnut tree with it’s varied imitations of Buzzard, Oystercatcher and Curlew also with Redshank.

All Pinkfoot returning over Sunderland Point at 17.10 until 17.30 with skein after skein passing over with noise incorporated, many thousand visible from the light glow from the power station, a fabulous twenty minutes.

                          Hi Jim,
This is a privately owned pond and a dislike by the owner to anyone trespassing on his land,

                              Hi Guy,
Thanks for your Starling update, they really are entertaining once in full flaw, so realistic is the mimic as you say it has you searching for the real thing. I wonder if any of the winter visitors from Europe take with them any mimics learned during winter, you can imagine one deep in a European city belting out an Oystercatcher mimic with observers all confused.

They were there from me first sighting them at 11am and flying at around 12 15ish, I would have guessed Whoopers.

All Godwits remained on the exposed mudflats/sandbanks around Lades Marsh area, it was only a 9.1mtr tide with plenty of exposed areas at high water, as Garry referred on a 10mtr+, everything is lifted and flying to various locations.
Interesting count Garry on the Middleton roost due to no overlap.
