      36 north over Heysham this am – first of season at this well watched site

      Please add any northbound flocks over the area to this thread. Thanks

        Pete, there were six CG in a line paddling up the Kent Channel on the incoming tide at Teal Bay a couple of days ago. Whether they were migrating I’ve no idea. They were swimming North though. I have to admit I thought ‘unusual bird at this location’ but didn’t post anything.

                  I saw a flock of 14 fly N over Lancaster yesterday.

                  This is really interesting – where are they going??

                    69 going over Borrowdale Road, Lancaster, today 5th June at 0843, but south. Not sure if the direction means that would have been a more local movement? Don’t normally see Canadas over here at all, especially not a biggish flock like this.
