      An adult Yellow-legged Gull was among the Herring, Lesser Black-backed and Great Black-backed Gulls roosting and preening on the Lune Estuary opposite the Golden Ball pub to 2.30 pm, when the gulls were disturbed by a passing Sparrowhawk.
