      Hobby adult hunting estuary and woodland on Ashton stretch SD455572. ‘Artistic’ shot below! Secondhand report of an adult Hobby hunting Starlings at Glasson Marina 10 Sept.

      Lapwing 1125 on low tide scars in Glasson Lune cSD449562 also here Redshank 300 Black-tailed Godwit 194 Wigeon 180Golden Plover 76 Greenshank 6 Avocet 2 Raven 1 Sparrowhawk 1

      Birds on Conder estuary included Ruff 2 (ad M & juv F) at SD457558, an Avocet 60 Redshank . 165 Teal another Greenshank nearer the road at SD459558

      Along track from Freeman’s Wood to Conder Green: Goldcrest 22, Chiffchaff 9, Blackcap 3.
