      I went down for a quick look in my lunch break today, and was pleased to see my first two wheatears of the year, both males.

      The car park was nearly covered by the tide, so the waders were really close. No counts, but the majority seemed to be dunlin, with small numbers of knot, grey plover and oystercatcher. I’m guessing because the tide was so high, other waders were already elsewhere (maybe the helipad?).
