      09:45 – 12:00 Just over two hours spent at c150′ asl vismigging and watching the Lune Valley distantly. Dry and little wind but cloudy spells.

      Vis Mig/Local movements:

      PF Geese 65W at 11:20
      Greylag Goose & Cormorant 1 each E
      Song Thrush 11S
      Pied/Alba Wagtails 13S
      Swallow 3S
      GSW 1
      Bullfinch 4
      Skylark 3NE, 1S first of the autumn here.
      Siskin 1
      Sparrowhawk female

      Local feeders:
      Tree Sparrow 15
      House Sparrow 12
      Greenfinch 4
      Goldfinch 6
      Chaffinch 10+

      Red Admiral 3, Comma 1, Painted Lady 1, Common Darter at height over tree tops.

      Hummingbird Hawkmoth 1 – 14th record in new garden since June. They love Red Valerian!

        Skylark 10W at 15:30.
        Chiffchaff singing
        Swallow 3S

        2 Red Admiral & Silver Y

        A real dearth of winter Thrushes!
