      There are a pair regularly fishing on the Lune estuary around Ashton. As soon as they catch they take the most direct route back to Conder Pool across the fields (and away from the gulls!).

          Was it the haaf net fishermen as apparently they saw them yesterday between Ashton and Stodday.

            Black swans both in sea near Bank End on 30th. Also 15 eider. 300 or so Whoopers in fields off Moss Lane.
