Male Blackcap briefly peeking over hedge at resident female Blackcap, which has been taking sunflower hearts daily through the winter in Milking Stile Lane garden.
Greater Spotted Woodpecker visits same feeder daily and pair of Nuthatches are frequent visitors.
Female Blackcap has visited garden two or three times a day, every day, since last post. Has taken to sitting in the bush by the sunflower kernel feeder and chasing off the blue tits (though leaves the great tits). Two Jay’s visit every day also.
