      Windy and the sheep were a long way away, 5 Pied Wagtails.

        A very nice Male Yellow Wagtail with 2 Females and 3 Juveniles.

        15 Pied Wagtails.

        Usual Starling flock.

          8 Yellow Wagtails this morning, varying degrees of yellow plumage.
          33 Pied Wagtails

          2 Marsh Harrier, they looked identical, fem/juve, and were hunting together.

            7 Yellow Wagtails this morning, seen in 1 scope sweep, highest total this Autumn, all very yellow and easy to pick out.

            33 Pied Wagtails and 1 standout White Wagtail, very clean plumage.

            60 Swallows, lots landing on the Saltmarsh and tide wrack, picking off insects.

              2 Yellow Wagtail this morning.

              29 Pied Wagtails and c90 Swallows feeding around the farms.

              50 Linnets feeding on the Saltmarsh seeds.

              2 Black headed Gulls, near the sea Bank looked like they had drifted in with tide, no obvious injuries, probably bird flu.

                3 Yellow Wagtails this morning, 2 with lots of yellow plumage and 1 with very little.
                35 Pied Wagtails
                High tides will cover the road to the farm and much of the Saltmarsh for the rest of this week.

                    2 Yellow Wagtail this morning, 1 with lots of yellow plumage and the other had very little yellow plumage.

                    Lots of Starlings, Pied Wagtails and Linnets.

                        2 juvenile Yellow Wagtail today, at a very pale plumage stage, they look like they have had a boil wash, not seen this stage this year.

                        29 Pied Wagtails and 20 Linnets, some Males still in FSP.

                        3 Swift feeding over the Saltmarsh.
                        Still a massive flock of Starlings.

                          Only 1 Juvenile Yellow Wagtail
                          35 Pied Wagtails

                          A female Clouded Yellow butterfly landed on some Fleabane for a minute or so, very nice, then flew off strongly to the north

                            A rather soggy looking juvenile Yellow Wagtail today.
                            14 Pied Wagtails

                            23 Swift feeding between Jogger Hill and Patty’s Barn.
                            Lots of Swift all over the place today.

                              Just a single juvenile Yellow Wagtail today.
                              Pied Wagtail 19
                              Assorted Swallows and House Martins feeding over the farm buildings and adjacent Saltmarsh.
                              30 House Sparrow around the farm buildings.

                                Tuesday 26th, 2 Wood Warblers, found by Paul Ellis, and I saw both of them, thanks to Paul.

                                The Wood Warbler in Rose Cottage wood was still showing well at 1330, when I left.

                                Also 9 Wheatears on Saltmarsh.

                                  67 Pied Wagtails, my biggest count this Autumn, 2 Sparrowhawk trying to get them for breakfast.1 Wheatear.

                                        Afternoon visit, 17 degrees, raining and breezy.
                                        An adult male Yellow Wagtail.
                                        2 Wheatear, 33 Pied Wagtails.
                                        At least a 1000 Starling around the Saltmarsh and farm.

                                          Lots of Sheep by the farm and road

                                          2 Juvenile Yellow Wagtails and 27 Pied Wagtails.

                                          At least 3000 Starling on the Saltmarsh and around the farms.

                                            22 degrees and sunny.

                                            1 adult Male Yellow Wagtail and 2 juveniles,lots of Sheep close to the farm and roads.
                                            41 Pied Wagtails. 2000 Starling murmuration over the farms and Saltmarsh, frequently attacked by Sparrowhawks.

                                              18 degrees and breezy, after the monsoon rain.

                                              1 Adult Male Yellow Wagtail and 3 Juveniles, all 3 looked identical and kept together, not seen this plumage stage before this Autumn.

                                              8 Swifts feeding briefly and then they disappeared.

                                                    2 Adult Male Yellow Wagtails, feeding around the sheep, plus 14 Pied.

                                                    9, Swifts feeding around the trees.
