09:02 Various: Glossy ibis still in horse paddock, ad Shag has just flown into harbour to waterfall area; earlier very distant inbound/attempting to fish Osprey Kent channel, tightly packed flock of 35 kitts on low tide channel and two sandwich terns out (also first Fulmar for two years, unfortunately a boat of that name!)

15:07 Andrew Cornall: A pair of Pied Flycatchers, back on territory at Stoops Bridge, Abbystead.

08:24 Jonathan Platt: Grasshopper warbler reeling, heard from footbridge leading to landfill by Oxcliffe Hall, Snatchems.

16:20 Stuart Sharp: Common Sandpiper and Redstart back on breeding grounds in my Sedbergh study site, some of which lies in the recording area. A couple of male Ring Ouzels in the hills too.

17:10 Alasdair Taylor: Swallows over the canal at Galgate and Haverbreaks this afternoon, the latter prospecting a nest site in one of the residents’ boathouse.

17:13 Eddy Bayton/M: Swallows over Torrisholme CC this afternoon too. Perhaps 15 in 2s and 3s over 3 hrs. The machine shed residents still absent.

18:37 Various: Reed warbler in at Leighton (at least 2) and Middleton NR this am

18:46 Kevin Shaw: I heard a Reed Warbler at LM yesterday.
