My highlights from today were as follows:
Common Redstart (male) Fairfield NR (near School Pond).
Bitterns (booming heard from three areas), a Reed Warbler, two Great Egrets, roving Osprey and six+ Marsh Harriers at Leighton Moss.
Hawfinch Gait Barrows.
Flock of 14 White Wagtails on shallow flood (SD 48720 70856) E of Crag Bank Lane plus four Pied Wagtails two Redshanks, two Shelduck and an Oystercatcher. This spot looks Citri-tastic.
