A pretty regular 24-27 count of swifts most evenings recently in E Freehold. Other more distant colonies visible too. On one occasion an investigating pair of house martins were given short shrift and bullied out of the area.
At Torrisholme Cricket Club the first clutch of swallows hatched Sunday/Monday as evidenced by eggshells on the machine shed floor.
