Spent a couple of futile hours SE Owl watching today, out on the marsh there were two people with two dogs running riot followed by four people with one dog with ball sling for pooch to retrieve, birds flushed or disturbed by same were
    Oystercatcher
    Curlew
    Redshank
    Snipe 8
    Pinkfoot 1
    Mallard
    Wigeon
    Teal
    Egret
I hope they gained maximum enjoyment in disturbing and distressing our local bird life
    Sunderland Brows Farm
    45 Twite
    27 Fieldfare
Very brief glimpse of Stoat with kill, I think it was a bird.
    On the village side
3,000 lapwings were sharing roosting space with a 1,000 Golden Plover, winter wonderland
Many Black Tailed Godwit, Dunlin and Wigeon.
