      Some sightings from a drizzly afternoon session;

      Two Green Sandpiper, three Grey Wagtail and a singing Cetti’s Warbler and singing Goldcrest in Stodday Sewage Works (ASC3)

      54 Herring Gull, 12 Lesser Black-backed Gull and 5 Little Egret in ASC4 E

      1600 Pink-footed Goose and two adult European White-fronted Goose on Colloway Marsh N. A pair of Great Black-backed Gull seem to have taken up summer residence here.

      Pair Shelduck investigating a potential nest site in A15 S (by ‘Smuggler’s Lane’).

      15 Linnets on Aldcliffe Marsh S also Oystercatcher pair.

      Oystercatcher 2 (pair).

      Chiffchaffs: ten singing along track between Freeman’s Wood and Stodday Sewage Works.
