Scoter …. Impossible to quantify the number of birds overflying Freehold from W to E tonight but a continuous series of aerial calling from 10pm to 11.30pm with perhaps 1 minute intervals as one wave after another passed over. They could even be heard over the railway traffic and the papermill boilers on the Caton Road.
