      C 2pm
      Just near end of Moreabe prom past Happy Mount,
      (NB thought we had seen 8 scoter but I think we had seen a few scoter near the jetty then actually saw 8 EIDER and thought the dark females were scoter)
      Probably 8 eider (not scoter) close to shore at high tide, one had a clearly defined white blob on the chest area (probs young male). One also had a white stripe down the sides. Looked like another five flying in to join as we left but the girls were ‘requesting’ their nap so…
