First Lesser Redpoll in our Haverbrack garden a day after the first Brambling! (in three years)
Birds clearly mobile right now but addition of large new feeder a month ago seems to have helped. Maximum counts of 8 Goldfinch, 8 Siskin, 3 Greenfinch and 3 Marsh Tit in past week. No Tree Sparrows right now (bred in garden nestbox last year)
8 Whoopers still on Heversham Moss west of College Green Farm
At least 4 Chiffchaff on territory in Underlaid Wood, also Small Tortoiseshell and Peacock
