      By the way thanks to all who came to a good LDBWS field meeting at LM today. Guided bird sound walks yielded songsters Blackcap, Cetti’s Warbler, Chiffchaff, Greenfinch, Goldcrest, Treecreeper and Song Thrush…..and the less mellifluous cries of Garganey, Gadwall, Water Rail and Coot!

      This was topped off by a great talk from eminent composer Edward Cowie.

        Dan et al Just like to say a big thank you for organising the birdsong walk and the lecture. Both excellent and of course you pre-booked the lovely weather as well!
