      I’m not sure if I believe what I’m seeing in the picture attached. I was checking something about planning permission on the Google route and ended up down a rabbit hole. The picture was taken from a narrow lane in central Ceredigion about 3 miles from the coast in August 2023. It is a part of the World I know very well. A lot of my forebears are buried in the chapel in the background.

      I’d be very interested in an expert opinion here.

        I would go with Stock Dove I think.

          Good call. Any other thoughts? Not a woodpigeon or a feral pigeon. In 65 years I’ve never seen a stock dove in the area although there are a few in the county….
