Brood of 8 young this morning at Halton weir. A further brood of 9 by Forge Weir. A brood of 5 almost ~adult size youngsters look like they might make it.
Also Common Sandpiper on guard duty. At least one pair of Grey Wagtail bred successfully here with 2 young seen.
No Painted Ladies seen in the vicinity so far.
