Late morning/early afternoon walk round Levens’ Park. Generally quiet.
River: 4 herons, 2 dippers, 4 mallard only ducks seen.
Park: 1 jay, 1 buzzard, numerous jackdaws as usual, nuthatch.
Force Lane east of A590: mixed tit flock including long-tailed and goldcrsts.
Force Lane on the Park Head side SD504864. cottage with feeders: 1 male blackcap, coal, blue and great tits, 1 nuthatch, 1 robin, 1 male bullfinch.
Fields west of Beech Wood and south of Force Lane: corvids included 6 rooks.
(Note Leven’s Hall and Gardens closed but Cafe open for takeway)
