Relatively quiet today– no doubt will be busier when the weather is cooler next week.
5 Skylarks were tantalisingly close to the food– just fifteen metres up the slope!
Actually noted nibbling the society seed were the following:
Chaffinch 19
Reed Bunting 8 (including two ringed males)
Stock Dove 2
Woodpigeon 2
Dunnock 2
Blackbird 2
Blue Tit 2Better numbers today:
Chaffinch 33
Reed Bunting 1430 Fieldfare in Pony Wood.
male Sparrowhawk through.
Chaffinches and Reed Buntings benefitting from the ground feeding & tables at the LDBWS feeding station today. Should get even busier during next week's cold spell: pic.twitter.com/axxQytE19V

Nice to meet you yesterday Dan. And to see the Reed Buntings you’ve lured in. What a great spot. Managed to sort out my password issues, so here goes!
