Kingfisher seen this morning, 10:30ish, on the canal by Belmount Bridge (about halfway between Skerton and Hest Bank) while doing the WEBS count. Also one goosander, seven moorhens and two mute swans. No mallards in this sector today.
Non-WEBS species included three mistle thrushes, one song thrush and a jay.
