      Birds of interest on the very icy Lune in Lancaster between Skerton Bridge (finished 1787) and the former Salt Ayre Tip:

      Mediterranean Gull 1 (2nd-winter, female-sized!) again Green Ayre. Pic of its eye attached below.
      Green Sandpiper 1
      Shoveler 1
      Great Black-backed Gull 4
      Goosander 9
      Goldeneye 6
