      2 Green Sandpiper on Pyes Bridge floods, Holme Moss with 11 Common Snipe, 1 male Pintail, 4 Shoveller, 4 Gadwall, 16 Teal, 20 Mallard, 1 Moorhen, 1 Grey Heron

        Good evening could someone please tell me where Holme moss and pyes bridge is please I’ve googled it but not coming up .

          I think the area that Gar is referring to is roughly at Grid Reference SD 516 794.

          Pye’s Bridge Lane is the minor road heading NE off the A6 at Hale (just south of Beetham). It goes over the railway (west coast mainline) at Pye’s Bridge and joins the B6384 NW of Holme.
