approx 120 geese overhead fly west in messy line and land by the estuary.
Freeman’s pond: 9 Gadwell (1f); 2 little greeb; 1 scaup? M?(in reeds)
Pond field: 50+ wigeon (m+f); 9 curlew feeding, followed by smaller,paler, limping …whimbrel? ; 11 mute swans (incl. 1 juv);
The ponds:19 visible teal (m+f); 1 very shy snipe; 6 moorhens.
On return, saw rather fluffy legged curlew and 8 moorhen in field by cross paths, perhaps the same 6 back again?
