Lots going on! Eclectic gathering at the cow pond…

      Freewoman’s pond:
10 Goldeneye, the 3 males doing a dance, craning their necks onto their backs the stretching them out and forward again…
      3 tufted tuck (2m 1f)
      2 little greeb
      10+ teal
      1 gadwall
      3 coot
      2 mallard
      2 long tailed tits
      1 bluetit
      2 wrens
      3 blackbirds
      3 woodpigeon
Btw walkers said they saw 4 deer by the pond

      Cow pond field:
1 interesting possible canada-barnacle hybrid? Smaller than Canada, brownish back and white face with no visible dark fore-eye as on barnacle.
      50-60 Canada geese
      7 curlew
      2 oystercatcher
      Dozen or so wigeon
      2 redshank
1 brown hare ran past the bemused geese

Opposite field: 1 little egret and several moorhens
