Limited check of Foulshaw at Hight Tide yesterday revealed no Rock Pipits but 35 Skylarks (all on marsh / adjacent pasture) & 6 M pipit were present. Several Skylarks passing overhead.
A few snipe in the marsh. Sparrow hawk being mobbed by 45 Lapwings
60 Curlew on Saltmarsh at high tide
      Chiffchaff singing Gilpin Bridge
Female Marsh Harriers (separate) at Foulshaw Moss & Brigsteer Wetland

Approx 1600 P F Geese remaining in Lyth Valley in past week. Curlews have arrived with a group of 45 near Brigsteer wetland. Let’s hope some make it to have chicks!

Blue sky and warmish sun the other major highlight 🙂
