A good variety of birds about this morning, despite the cold wind.
Lots of chiffchaffs and a few willow warblers singing.
Skylarks singing and a few meadow pipits displaying.
      Stonechat and wheatear.
      At least one yellowhammer singing.
      Green woodpecker heard.
A snipe flushed from the limestone pavement.
Two weeks ago it was quiet!
