From Crag Road viewpoint (8.35 – 9.40 am)
Allen and Eric Morecambe Pools both virtually dry so all the birds were on the Flood which is currently about half its normal size.
4 Spoonbill – flew in at 9.20 am after feeding in a low tide pool off Jenny Brown’s Point from which they were displaced by the incoming tide
8 Avocet – seemingly two separate family groups

1 Little Stint
1 Ruff
1 Great White Egret – briefly on Barrow Scout Fields
7 female Pochard – flew into land on Barrow Scout
