All these birds left when 6 hovercrafts raced up and down the water and over the sands as the tide was rising. Aside from the very loud noise, they covered all areas so left the birds nowhere to go. They then raced off up-river, presumably just in case there was anyone or anything left in the area who was still undisturbed.
