      6th June 2021

      Blea Tarn reservoir
      Garganey 1 male
      Gadwall 7
      Great Crested Grebe 2, now with nest

      Conder Green
      Little Ringed Plover 1
      Avocet – currently 6 broods, aged between 21 days and a few days old. Two clutches still to hatch. Probably 20+ chicks at the moment, 10 of which have moved to the Conder.
      Common Tern At least 8 pairs
      Mediterranean Gull 1 2ndCY
      Canada Goose 2 adults with 6 young, one of which is looking distinctly Greylag-ish.

        The Garganey was absent from Blea Tarn this evening but I did see 2 oystercatcher chicks and one lapwing chick.
