One Common Crane was photographed as it flew over Fluke Hall ‘towards Heysham’ this morning.
In other news, Guy McLelland has been watching a Barn Owl hunting along the ‘Lunecliffe stretch’ of the canal (c SD470596) of late, including this evening when he heard a Cetti’s Warbler singing. I thought ‘Mr. Atkins’ was long gone!.
