Anyone with a scope and/or loaf of bread may wish to read the ring on a 3rd CY Med Gull with the regular gathering of Black-headed Gulls in the field by the footbridge between Haverbreaks and Aldcliffe Road this afternoon. It has a white darvic ring on its left leg. Reading the 4 character code from the bottom up I managed ??92. So just the top two digits as the lower part of the ring was obscured by the grass… then it sat down!
