A warmer day than recently but quite a fresh S/SE wind. Nothing out of the ordinary but a nice sprinkling of summer visitors.

Forge Weir: Two Dipper collecting food.
      Common Sand 1

Halton Weir and gravel island: 3 Common Sand, Pied Wagtail brood and 2+ Swifts around.

Freeman’s Pool: Quiet but a Stoat crossed the path. 2 Orange Tip

The Flood: All the Wagtails checked appeared to be Pied.

Wildfowlers Pool: LRP 2, Common Whitethroat in subsong.

Between WF and Ashton Hall: 2 Lesser Whitethroats singing, 2 Common Whitethroat singing and a single Cetti’s Warbler. 2 Roe Deer

Conder Pool & Creek: Common Tern over, Lesser Whitethroat, Sedge Warbler, Spotted Redshank – nearly full summer plumage.

      Glasson – Quiet

      Regards
      Steve
