      7th May
      Blea Tarn Reservoir
      Shelduck- 8
      Tufted Duck- 2
      Great Crested Grebe- 1
      Lapwing- 4
      Oystercatcher- 5
      Curlew- 1 in nearby field
      Willow Warbler- 1

      Langthwaite Reservoir
      Lesser Black-backed Gull- 20
      Whimbrel- 20 dropped in at around 11:30.
      Whitethroat- 1

        At the tarn today:

        Shelduck 2
        Lapwing 9 including one incubating
        Redshank 1
        Common Sandpiper 2
        Tufted Duck 13
        Great Crested Grebe 1
        Whitethroat 1 singing.

        5 Willow Warblers and a Blackcap heard singing in the birch plantation at the southern side of the reservoir.
