3 juvenile Black Tern suddenly appeared over Conder Pool while I was scanning through a rapidly growing group of bathing Black-headed Gulls at 4.00 pm. Unfortunately they only remained c.5 minutes before being lost against the bright afternoon sunshine reflecting off the water. During that time they towered up once before dropping back down to feed low over the pool, then presumably flew off west.

Also on Conder Pool: at least 11 Mediterranean Gull (5 adults, 3 2nd summers, 3 juveniles) among the large gathering of Black-headed Gulls which were commuting between the pool and the fields towards Jeremy Lane.
      11 Greenshank
      14 Little Grebe
      2 Wigeon

Conder Creek – 1 Ruff, 1 juvenile Little Ringed Plover, 2 Avocet (adult & half-grown youngster), 1 Kingfisher
