There’s a review of soon to be released Birdpedia on my blog.
Birdpedia is a recent manifestation of previous works by the North American author Christopher W Leahy, namely the Birdwatchers Companion 1982 (917 pages) and Second Edition of 2002 at a meagre 1000 pages. These encyclopaedic handbooks of birds are now encapsulated into the pocket sized Birdpedia of just 257 pages. A good little read at £9.99.
