This afternoon on falling tide around 3 p.m.
2 Mergansers (pair) started near Broadway and flew towards Teal Bay
2 Pintail and 39 wigeon at Teal Bay
1 Eider female off Bare and 4 wigeon at Scalestones.
2 great crested grebe and 1 cormorant way out.
82 pink-footed geese appeared to take off from Jenny Brown’s Point direction and flew straight towards us, gaining height.
Usual waders –
768 oystercatchers, 43 redshank, 147 turnstones, 20 dunlin, 28 knot, 3 curlew, 2 bar-tailed godwits, 45 ringed plovers, 17 lapwing.
3 herring gull, 1 lesser black-backed gull, 1 great black-backed gull, 37 black-headed gull, 2 common gull.
3 crow, 65 starlings, 1 pied wagtail (Princes Crescent), 1 feral pigeon
