      Whimbrel – 28 flying in just before high tide to briefly rest opposite Arnside pier and then flying up river as tide came in at 10.30am

          I only saw 15 from the Promenade, but I did catch a House Martin

            Yes 28 Whimbrels originally and some flew over the viaduct to rest on the rock breakwater
