      Quail singing intermittently along Environment Agency bund near Frog Pond (A5) this morning. Best listened to / watched for from ‘the hump’ (ie where the mixed use path goes over the bund) at SD 45754 61280.

      The pond itself had a pair each of Gadwall, Coot and Lapwing but these were all cleared by an inquisitive collie and owner.
