      A good few hours out along the Lune estuary today. Quite a lot of activity, including the following highlights:
      Med gull – Freeman’s Pools
      Little ringed plover – 2 Wildfowlers’ Pools
      Green sandpiper – Aldcliffe Flood
      Avocet – 8 at Conder Pool
      Black-t godwit – colour ringed bird at Glasson
      Garganey – pair Plover Scar
      Sanderling – 1 Plover Scar
      Golden plover – colour ringed bird amongst large flock Cockersands
