Spoonbill on Aldcliffe Marsh at 11.40am. Was roosting with 2 Little Egrets, presumably been pushed off the Lune by the tide. Flew off north, gaining height at 12.05.
Only my second here.
Adult Common Tern flew into Freeman’s Pools with a fish i it’s beak – it flew around the tern raft and the island, constantly calling. Did about 20 laps before heading back to the river.
