On the marsh a Merlin showing well.
Few birds in hedges Goldcrest, Robin, Wren, Blackbird, Song thrush, Dunnock, Goldfinch, Greenfinch, Blue, Long-tailed tits.
A few thousand Pink-footed geese in fields beyond Heaton marsh.
The Flood had a small unfrozen patch with 4 Shoveler, Wigeon/Teal.
Also 7 Moorhen including 2 on the top of a hedge, 2 Snipe. 3 Little egret in fields.
Buzzard in the usual spot Freeman’s Pool.
