      My first whitethroat of the year by Stodday picnic stop (thanks to Bill for the intel)
      5 wheatear in Wildfowlers’ Pools field & single swallow through.
      2 LR plover & 11 black-tailed godwit on the pools.
      30+ meadow pipit & 6 white wagtails on the Flood.

      Lots of butterflies around: orange-tip, peacock, small tort & my first speckled wood of the year.

        Postscript: late afternoon / early eve

        5 goldeneye on Freeman’s Pools
        2 pairs LRP on Wildfowlers’ Pools
        Pair of peregrine with freshly caught lapwing on estuary
        Whitethroat still at Stodday
        White & pied wags with 40+ mipits on the Flood
