Productive morning!
Lesser White-fronted Geese with Pinkfeet at approx SD460605. A couple of ropey photos attached. Found AT 10.00 and still there at 12.00. Approx 2000 PFG around the fields
One Tundra Bean Goose in the same field.
Colour ringed Black-tailed Godwit (Left leg: orange, Right: Green, white, white) on Wildfowlers’ Pools with 18 others at 09.30
55 Linnets feeding in the maize field at 09.15
A few Golden Plover and Dunlin taking advantage of the thaw in the fields.
6 Goldeneye on Freeman’s Pool at 09.15

Information on the colour-ringed Black-tailed Godwit I saw this morning. I recorded it on 28/3/20 as well. Seems to like Norfolk in the Autumn and sunny Lancashire in the spring before it heads back to Iceland.

Interestingly another cr Black-tailed Godwit also ringed at Snettisham on 1-9-19 (O-YW//W) was at Aldcliffe on 14th and 25th March last year.
