Limited to twelve places, this free guided event will hope to catch migration in action on the beautiful limestone SSSI of Farleton Knott. If we’re lucky we’ll see big flocks of Redwings, Fieldfares and finches including Chaffinches and Bramblings on the move. In passage periods like these club members have found off-passage scarcities like Lapland Bunting and Ring Ouzel here. The area is reliable for Green Woodpecker, Stonechat and is one of the last places where Yellowhammer occur in our district. Join Dan Haywood & Andrew McCafferty for a migration vigil and short walk this Sunday morning. Please e-mail to book a space and for details.
