Warton Crag is an excellent location for birds of scrubby habitats and this field trip will focus on finding and learning how to identify these common species from their songs and calls. Andrew McCafferty recently gave a fascinating and informative indoor talk to the Society so you will be in the safe hands of a knowledgeable leader. If you find it near impossible to learn the songs of similar sounding species such as blackcap and garden warbler then this event could be for you.
