Our November meeting will feature a talk from Kevin Briggs entitled ‘A Walk in the Woods’. Kevin’s presentation will focus on the nesting behaviour of four species; pied flycatcher, nuthatch, blue tit and great tit. Based on many seasons of his in-the-field monitoring and shot through with over fifty years of the speaker’s ornithological nous, the talk will give us an intimate look at their breeding habits within a number of woodland study sites in our area.
In order to reduce car usage to these meetings it would be great if people could offer lifts- please email ldbws.info@gmail if you can help (similarly if you require a lift please let us know).
The meeting is in the Foster Suite which is on the first floor – please note there is full access to this room via the lift (an accessible toilet is also located on this floor).
Refreshments will be served by LDBWS. The venue also has a licensed bar! The talk is FREE to members and £3 in cash to non members.
