Silverdale resident John Webb will lead a walk around the Silverdale area. On this half-day field trip we will take a walk of approximately 3-4 miles and take in a variety of habitats including the scrubby grasslands of Jack Scout and various woodlands. We will stop for lunch (please bring your own) coincide with the high tide at Jenny Brown’s Point. Birdwatching in summer can have a reputation for being quiet but this varied walk looking at all nature will show that this is not always the case. The walk will at times go through rocky and uneven terrain so please wear appropriate footwear.
